Are dairy products a danger?

When reading this article I was shocked to learn that BSE could be transmitted through milk. I will however have to check in to this as i have never heard that, but if i find this fact to check out, this will be a good resource.

Since the FDA has all the information about food borne illnesses, I figured this was a good website to visit. It had all kinds of information I could use in my paper. Of course it is a reliable source because it is the US government, although some would argue that is why it is not reliable, this organization is straight with the facts.

I found this article to be informative. It basically just states that Arizona's residents are not fearful because the infected cows from Washington were not shipped here. It also states that loopholes are allowing cows to be fed nerve and bone tissue of other cows which spreads the infection. I will be using this to answer the question of weather the government is doing enough to protect us.

In this article, three different people answer the what, how, why questions of BSE (mad cow). Each author is an expert in their respective fields, all in the farming industry, and they speak for a prestigious university. Since they answer all of the basic questions needed for my paper, I will be using their explanations in answering those what, how , why questions.
